Solitary
Directed by Nhlanhla Phakathi
Behind prison walls, two fallen artists find freedom in each other. Sizwe, a former fine arts student serving time for armed robbery, begins exchanging poetry and artwork with Zodwa, a celebrated soul singer imprisoned for the murder of her wealthy husband—a crime she insists she did not commit. As music, words, and images pass between them, an unexpected romance takes root, proving that even in confinement, love and creativity can survive.
