Fight for LIfe

In Mukuru, one of Nairobi's most underserved neighbourhoods, retired Olympic boxer Benson Gicharu, known as Coach Benso, is fighting a new battle. After representing Kenya at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, he returned home to build the Mukuru Fight for Life Initiative, a boxing club for the streets that raised him. FIGHT FOR LIFE is an intimate portrait of resilience and collective hope and a powerful reminder that where you begin does not have to determine where you end.
