Diaspora Diaries
Directed by Sarah Des Rosiers
Synopsis
With her camera as a diary, a Haitian-Canadian filmmaker living in Switzerland turns toward the Black diaspora in search of belonging. Through intimate encounters with artists, teachers, and activists, stories of childhood, racism, resilience, and divided identities echo her own. Tender and deeply personal, the film explores what it means to create home in a society that often resists difference.
