Synopsis
Set in the heart of the Congo Basin, Afrotopia follows Ezekiel, a 25-year-old aspiring filmmaker trapped beneath the shadow of his powerful father, Maurice. Forced by financial hardship to join the family logging business, Ezekiel discovers a plan to destroy a sacred forest—the last refuge of an Indigenous community. As a buried colonial-era family tragedy comes to light, he must choose between loyalty to his father, freedom from his inheritance, and the survival of his people.
