A SHEPHERD'S JOY

Set in the rural villages of Matatiele, A Shepherd's Joy follows Gcinikhaya, a disheartened school dropout sent to work as a herd boy for a wealthy livestock owner. Guided by his father and driven by a renewed sense of purpose, Gcinikhaya discovers a way to restore the flock's fertility and transforms himself into a skilled and compassionate shepherd, using music, patience, and kindness to tend the animals.
